Comments & Discussion
The ticket from the Broadmoor-Cheyenne Mountain Highway is similar to others from the surrounding years. It is not uncommon for tickets from this era to have a stamp on the back, but no name signed on the front.
The paper has an underlying pattern for fraud prevention, as well as some hidden watermark text.
These tickets originally had a stub on the bottom. An example of the full tickets can be seen here.
Gray Line Motor Tours
This Gray Line ticket came to the archives along with the Broadmoor-Cheyenne ticket.
Condition, Aging & Authenticity: The watermark text on the Broadmoor-Cheyenne ticket is hard to read and only partially visible. It likely says “Safety Matters”. The date stamp on the back is heavily faded, but the date is still legible. The month can only be seen under magnification.
